Product Functions


The mining anchor plate plays a key role in load bearing and load transfer within the rock bolt support system, with specific functions as follows:




  1. Transferring Pre-tensioning Force: Transmits the thrust generated by the tightening torque of the nut to the roof and sidewalls of the roadway, enabling the rock bolt to generate initial anchoring force and achieving active support.

  3. Thread the mining anchor plate onto the rock bolt shank — the plate must be firmly pressed against the rock surface, without any gap or tilt.




  4. Tighten the nut to achieve the specified pre-tensioning force.




  5. Conduct a final inspection — the plate must not be warped, tilted, or suspended; only then is the installation qualified.




Precautions for Use


Based on practical experience from underground operations, the following precautions must be strictly observed:




  • The mining anchor plate must be pressed firmly against the rock surface — gaps or padding are strictly prohibited.




  • Plates that are deformed, cracked, or severely corroded must never be used.




  • The size and thickness of the mining anchor plate must match the strength of the rock bolt or anchor cable — “a small horse pulling a large cart” is strictly prohibited.




  • In fractured rock zones, enlarged and thickened plates must be used together with metal wire mesh.




  • Nut tightening torque must be appropriate — too loose provides no support, too tight may crush the plate.




  • Regular underground inspections must be conducted — replace any loose or deformed plates promptly.
