I. Overall Process Flow

• Overhead crane places coiled sheets onto the pay‑off rack → Leveling machine → Servo feeder → Hydraulic forming → Roller discharge

• Processable specification: 450×280×5 mm (custom mold)

• Equipment efficiency: approx. 1500 pieces per 8‑hour shift

• Operators required: 1 person per set

IV. Main Components

The guard plate production line mainly consists of: pay‑off rack, leveling machine, servo feeder, press, one set of molds, finished product roller conveyor, electrical control cabinet, etc.

(1) Pay‑off Rack
An overhead crane or forklift places coiled sheets onto the pay‑off rack. The rack can hold a full coil of strip steel. It has no driving mechanism; the strip steel is pulled out by the leveling machine.

(2) Leveling Machine
This equipment uses opposing leveling rollers to flatten and eliminate internal stress in the material. It is used to straighten and correct the material before stamping, thereby improving the quality of stamped parts and reducing the defect rate.
Advantage: Two major functions – leveling and straightening – are integrated into one machine, significantly saving floor space.

(3) Servo Feeder
It offers high feeding accuracy, with manual/automatic switching capability and programmable feeding lengths. Compared with other mechanical feeders, the servo feeder is more convenient and easier to operate in terms of adjustment and control.

(4) Mold
The mold is of the type that performs punching and forming first, followed by shearing.

(5) Press
The press is a 400T high‑speed press, model YL32‑400.

(6) Finished Product Roller Conveyor Device
The roller device consists of roller mechanisms and a roller frame. The rollers are designed with a certain slope so that after the finished guard plate is ejected, it slides down along the inclined rollers.

(7) Electrical Control Cabinet
It contains main electrical components such as a PLC module, frequency converters, etc., all from well‑known domestic and international brands.
